This isn’t your mother’s Barbie doll. No, she’s of – and for – a different generation.

Not only does Mattel’s new “Tokidoki” Barbie have pink hair, but she also has some hardcore tattoos on her upper chest and neck.

Mattel collaborated with a L-A based fashion brand “Tokidoki” for the look.

Tokidoki means ‘sometimes’ in Japanese, but there’s nothing temporary about the tattoos. They’re permanent.

In 2009, Mattel introduced the “Totally Stylin’ Tattoos” Barbie that came with removable sticker tattoos, but now the “Tokidoki” Barbie comes permanently inked.
