KANSAS CITY, Mo. — It looked a little like Black Friday at the Best Buy store near Metro North Mall Thursday morning.

The store, located at 509 NW Barry Road, is closing and customers jumped on the chance to find some bargains.

The store was closed from Jan. 29 to Feb. 1 to move inventory.

The store’s final day will be on February 14, or when all merchandise is sold, whichever comes first.

A letter was sent out to customers recently saying that market trends played a part in the company’s decision to close.

There are two other locations where shoppers can go: in Liberty and at Tiffany Springs. To find your nearest location visit www.bestbuy.com
