PLATTE COUNTY, Mo. – The Platte County Sheriff’s Office said it received a call that someone had found a dead body near East Dye Store Road and Dye Store Road on Friday morning. A death investigation has been initiated; no description of the body has been given yet.
The sheriff’s office has requested the assistance of the Kansas City Police Metro Squad to assist in the investigation and the scene is being processed by the KCPD Crime Scene Unit.
