KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police are investigating after someone called in a bomb threat to Operation Breakthrough on Thursday afternoon.

According to Kansas City Missouri Police, an unknown caller told Operation Breakthrough officials that there was a bomb in the building near 30th and Troost.

The facility, including the daycare, was evacuated and a KCPD Bomb Squad dog conducted a search of the building. Authorities say that no explosive devices were found in the building.

Police also closed the 3000 block of Troost to all traffic for a time on Thursday afternoon until the investigation was completed. It has since reopened.
