BONNER SPRING, Kan. — If you’re looking for a little adrenaline surge this weekend you might check out the metro’s first zipline park. Adventure Zip KC is on 140 acres in Bonner Springs and will open this weekend.

The owners wanted to be open by fall so riders could enjoy the fall colors in between screams and they’ll be open through the winter as well.

“We will have specials throughout the winter. We wanna do a snow zip, so we’re up for crazy and exciting things,” general manager Monica Reid said.

Right now Adventure Zip offers a 300 foot elevation change with five lines.  They plan to add three more in the spring.
