KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Four people were taken into custody Thursday night after a two-year-old girl was grazed with a bullet that passed from one apartment to another.
The shooting happened at about 7:45 p.m at an apartment complex at 79th and Manchester Ave. Police say the gun went off in one apartment unit and traveled across the hall into another unit where it grazed the child.
The girl did not suffer serious injuries. Police were trying to determine if the shooting was an accident and whether to recommend charges be filed against those involved.
