KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The wait is over for fans of the iPhone.

The iPhone 6 and 6+ hit stores Friday.

That means people who have been camped out in front of Apple stores for days can finally pack up their gear and get their reward.

FOX 4’s Matt Stewart was live outside the Apple store on the Plaza and talked to one man who set up a tent for his long wait.

Apple announced earlier this week that it sold a record four million of the smart phones last Friday, the first day the phones were available for pre-order. The iPhone 6 is 7/10ths of an inch bigger than the iPhone 5s and the Plus model is as big as an Android smartphone.
