FYFFE, Ala. —  You read about these a lot — silhouettes of the Virgin Mary or of Jesus showing up in a potato chip or in a bagel or window fog. Sometimes you see them… sometimes you don’t.

To many, this praying man on a horse is striking.

To Trudy and Gary Lott, it’s a sign from God that her family is going to be okay — a reassurance after her husband was diagnosed with stomach and pancreatic cancer. Trudy said after months of treatment her husband was allowed to return home on Christmas day. She said she asked God for strength and a sign. The next day, Trudy said she went out to the barn and saw the image of the praying man in the horse.

“Everything is so bad in the world right now, I thought it would be nice to let someone know there is good happening too,” she said.
