OLATHE, Kan. — A 9-year-old boy was hit by a car Monday morning, but thankfully suffered only minor injuries.
Police were called out to the accident in the area of 1800 W. Dennis Ave. at about 8:15 a.m.
Police say the boy was on his bicycle crossing Dennis Ave., when an eastbound car hit him. The boy was wearing a helmet and didn’t appear to be seriously hurt but was transported to an area hospital for evaluation.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was not injured.
