KANSAS CITY, Kan. – JayDoc Free Clinic and Groupon Grassroots (http://grassroots.groupon.com), the philanthropic arm of Groupon, announce the launch of a local campaign to help Jaydoc Free Clinic provide prenatal labs to uninsured, pregnant patients.
The Prenatal Care Campaign will be available on the Kansas City Groupon Grassroots page beginning on June 18, 2012 and running through June 24, 2012. Utilizing Groupon Grassroots’ collective action model, Groupon subscribers can pledge support for the Prenatal Care Campaign initiative in increments of $10, with each $100 providing prenatal labs to an uninsured woman for the duration of her pregnancy.
The donated funds will be used to help pay for prenatal labs, a major cost associated with our comprehensive prenatal care for uninsured pregnant patients. They will allow JayDoc to continue to provide comprehensive prenatal care to the uninsured women of Kansas City, free of charge.

100% of the Groupon Grassroots campaign proceeds will be used to provide prenatal care labs to our patients.
