EASLEY, S.C. — If you’re dying for one more cappucinno, Robinson Funeral Home will soon find baristas in Starbucks uniforms serving lattes in the lobby, where owner Chris Robinson is building a “Coffee Corner.”

According to USATODAY, Robinson said the coffeeshop is just one more service for the grief-stricken.

“If this provides them a little escape, gives them a break from the stress they are going through, that’s what its all about — to make them feel a little better,” he told WSPA-TV.

Robinson, who notes that the cafe will serve the public as well as mourners, says opening a Starbucks fits in with the history of the fourth-generation funeral home.

He says his great-grandfather started the funeral home inside a main street general store, where people would gather and drink coffee.
