KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Political leaders and Kansas democrats in Wyandotte County are furious over a redistricting plan.
Under the proposal passed by a house committee, only one neighborhood near the KU Medical School would remain part of Congressman Kevin Yoder’s 3rd District. The rest of Wyandotte County would join the first district of western Kansas. That, based on party registration, would appear to solidify the seat Yoder won in 2010 as Republican.
FOX 4’s Rob Low spoke with Yoder about the controversy.
