BONNER SPRINGS, Kan. — Brad Paisley said in a tweet that he’d play loudly for the people of Westboro Baptist Church, whom he spotted picketing on the side of the road in Bonner Springs, Kan. over the weekend.
Paisley performed on Sunday, June 1, in the 2014 Country Mega Ticket show at the Cricket Wireless Amphitheater in Bonner Springs (formerly Sandstone.)
Instead of avoiding them and their signs which read “God hates drunks” and “Sin breeds violence,” Paisley, 41, took a selfie posing with the protesters.
“Hopefully they can hear the show out here,” he tweeted along with the picture.
