LEETON, Mo. — A Leeton, Mo., woman is recovering after a freak accident involving a deer on Thanksgiving evening.
Police said Courtney K. Robinson, 23, was traveling south on Missouri 13 just before 7 a.m. when she struck a deer. Not only did Robinson hit the deer, it completely came through her windshield and exited the back window.
Robinson, driving a 1997 Honda Accord, was wearing a seatbelt but suffered moderate injuries and was taken to the hospital.
