SALEM, Ore. (KPTV) — A Salem man is facing a second count of heroin possession after he showed up to court with a syringe and cotton ball in his pocket, deputies said.
Michael Durban, 23, was scheduled to be arraigned on a charge of heroin possession at Marion County Circuit Court.
Deputies said when Durban went through courthouse security, they found a syringe and a cotton ball in his pocket that deputies believed contained heroin.
According to deputies, Durban said he got “mixed up” and thought he left the items in his car.
Durban was arrested and charged with another count of heroin possession.
