MOSCOW, Idaho — The mystery of Bigfoot could be solved with the help of unmanned drones.

Idaho State University’s Jeffrey Meldrum told the Mountain Express he thinks drones could play a key role in finding Sasquatch — assuming he actually exists.

“These unmanned drones, I believe, are the next step in proving the nature of these creatures,” said Meldrum, who authored “Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science.”

The venture is called “The Falcon Project.”

Meldrum and the University of Idaho are working with William Barnes. The idea is to attach a camera to a 45-foot-long drone in search of the legendary creature.

Bigfoot received a boost of renewed interest recently after video surfaced last week that allegedly shows a bipedal ape wandering through the woods in Canada. See video and pictures here.
