WICHITA, Kan. — The United States Geological Survey reports a 4.8 magnitude quake occurred Wednesday at about 3:40 p.m.
It was centered about 8 miles south of Conway Springs in Sumner County. That’s about 30 miles south of Wichita.
Many in Kansas and Oklahoma said they felt the shifting and movement.
