SAN FRANCISCO, Sophie Tweed-Simmons auditioned for the The X Factor in San Francisco, and told the judges she wanted to stand on her own talent, not the talent and fame of her father, Gene Simmons of the rock band KISS.
The 19-year-old aspiring singer appeared nervous as she introduced herself to the judges.
“I didn’t want any help,” the teen said.
She sang Adele’s Make You Feel My Love, but gave it her own sound.
