RAYTOWN, Mo. — Friends and family of Harry Stone gathered on Sunday morning at the place he was killed on May 13.

Stone was jogging down Blue Ridge Blvd. when someone shot him from a passing car. Family and friends of the 60-year-old are still looking for justice.

“I think Harry was in the wrong place at the wrong time,” said Stone’s friend Aaron Hynds. “Harry was a victim of opportunity for the men that did this.”

Leads are slim and police say the suspects were two black men. They were in a car that was traveling northbound on Blue Ridge Blvd. on Mother’s Day.

“Mother’s Day was a really big deal to have something like that said Patrick Vanzandt, friend. “I just know his family was devastated with everything.”

Loved ones are passing out fliers around the neighborhood and asking people who may have witnessed the crime to speak out and do the right thing. So far, no arrests have been made.
