RAYTOWN, Mo. —  Family and friends of a man murdered on his morning jog hope raising the reward fund will help catch the killers.

Harry Stone, 60, was killed while jogging in Raytown on Mother’s Day. Police caught some men on surveillance video but there’s still no leads on who they are. Stone’s friends and family hope increasing the reward fund will lead to someone calling into the TIPS Hotline.

The fundraiser will be held Saturday, August 4 at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church on Bannister and James A. Reed Rd. from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. It’s a $3 breakfast and includes eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, cereal and more. For more information contact the church office at 816-763-8444.

Anyone with information about Stone’s murder can anonymously call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477). Tips may also be submitted electronically at KCcrimestoppers.com, or by texting TIP452 and your information to 274637 (CRIMES).
