KANSAS CITY, Mo. — All-Star festivities are underway in Kansas City. The Futures Game took place at Kauffman Stadium on Sunday.

The All-Star sponsor zone has been set up at the K. Game and event sponsors have paid big money to have activities and merchandise available for fans at the stadium. Pepsi, Okaley glasses and Nike also have booths.

The real stars of the sponsor zone are the Budweiser Clydesdales and King the Dalmatian. Nine of the huge horses are on display and fans are getting plenty of pictures with the phenomenal animals. FOX 4 talked to some baseball fans from St. Louis who said they’re impressed with the layout in Kansas City.

“They’re definitely the All-Stars,” said Debbie ‘Neil.  “They always are, no matter where they are they get a lot of attention.”

The Clydesdales travel to 250 events a year. The horses will be in the spotlight at the All-Star Game. They will do a lap around the field just before the game starts.

Habitat for Humanity is also taking part in the All-Star festivities. Two homes are being built for tornado victims in Joplin and Alabama.
