OMAHA, Neb. — The last of four inmates who escaped from a north-central Kansas county jail is back in custody.
Authorities say that Eric James, 22, was apprehended and taken into custody in Omaha.
James, along with Drew Edward Wade and Santos Carrerra-Morales, was on the run for most of the week after escaping from the Ottawa County, Kansas, jail on Wednesday morning. James was convicted in 2009 in Anderson County of three counts aggravated burglary and one count kidnapping.
Wade and Morales were both recaptured on Thursday. A fourth convict was captured shortly after the escape.
