KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Firefighters responded to an apartment fire in the 1000 block of Broadway early Monday morning.
According to the fire chief two people living in a third-floor apartment called 911 to report the fire. Sprinklers helped knock down most of the flames. The apartment suffered extensive water damage, as did the two apartments below it.
No one was injured and the cause remains under investigation.
