KANSAS CITY, Mo. — For the first time since the Feb. 19th explosion at JJ’s Restaurant, former employees were allowed at the burn site. Some were eager to get to work, others left the site visibly shaken. For restaurant owner Jimmy Frantze, his focus is on his employees.
“More than anything, I want to heal a little bit, I want my staff to heal,” he said.
Demolition crews are expected to begin work at the site on Monday. Frantze said he wants to restore the west wall of the building.
