KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A former pastor charged with sexually abusing a child in the Kansas City area was brought back to Kansas City Thursday, after he was captured last week in New Orleans.
George Spencer, 58, had been on the run since August, when he was charged in Jackson County Court with multiple counts of sodomy, child molestation and sexual misconduct involving a 13-year-old girl.
She told police Spencer tried to force her to have sex with him in the basement of the CME Church in South Kansas City.
