KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Authorities say the young girl who was shot in the head in an apparent accident in a south Kansas City home last Thursday has died.

Trinity Ross was four years old.

According to new details in a police report, the shooting happened in a home near Birchwood Drive and Monroe.
