KANSAS CITY, Mo. – One of FOX 4’s own celebrated National Cancer Survivors Day by accepting a very special award.
From noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday locals gathered at the Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Survivors Park on Roanoke between 47th and 48th Streets just west of the Country Club Plaza, for the 29th Annual Kansas Survivor Celebration of Life Rally. Sunday was National Cancer Survivors Day.
FOX 4’s John Holt received the 2014 Richard A. Bloch Cancer Survivorship Award from Annette Bloch, who is the co-founder, along with her late husband, of the Bloch Cancer Foundation. She selects one recipient of the award each year.
