OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Five additional charges have been brought against Frazier Glenn Cross, Jr., the man charged in the shootings which took place outside the Jewish Community Center and Village Shalom in Overland Park, on April 13 of this year.
Cross was initially charged with one count of capital murder and one count of first degree premeditated murder in the deaths of Reat Underwood, 14, his grandfather, Dr. William Corporon, 69, and Terri LaManno, 53, back in April. But on Tuesday, Cross was also charged with three additional counts of attempted premeditated first degree murder, one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of discharge of a gun into an occupied dwelling.
Court documents name three additional victims who were allegedly shot at with the intention of being killed, and also accuse Cross of discharging a firearm into the Jewish Community Center White Theatre, with the knowledge there were people inside.
It is still unknown if prosecutors will seek the death penalty in this case, but with a capital murder charge that outcome is a possibility.
