KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Neighbors were being told to move away from a home near 34th and Pennsylvania in Midtown Kansas City, as a standoff was underway Friday night.
Others are being told to stay away from the area and a command center has been set up nearby.
Kansas City Police Chief Darryl Forte tweeted about the significant police presence and activity in the area.
At about 10 p.m., one person was taken into custody.
