KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Friends and family of a slain Kansas City, Kansas, woman gathered on Friday night for a vigil in hopes that police will soon catch the man charged with her murder.
Sharon Nero, 43, was found dead insider her home on North 28th Street early Wednesday morning. Authorities have charged her boyfriend, 44-year-old Timothy Webb, with her murder.

Webb was last seen driving a four-door Chevrolet Malibu Classic with tinted windows and Missouri license plate UG1-P3W.
On Friday, Nero’s family said that they just want their mother’s killer brought to justice.
“I just wish he didn’t do that to her,” said Nero’s oldest daughter, Theresa Griswold. “She didn’t deserve it.”
“We got to live with this for the rest of our lives,” added Dominique Allen, Nero’s daughter. “That pain will never go away.”
