KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A gas leak in Kansas City, Mo., on Friday evening evacuated an entire city block.
The incident happened in the 4100 block of Tracy Ave., just east of Troost Avenue.
According to officials, a city contractor working on sidewalks in the area hit a gas line. Missouri Gas and Energy was on scene.
The line was capped and the “all clear” was given for people to go back into their homes shortly after 6:30 p.m.
