GLADSTONE, Mo. — People in a Gladstone neighborhood say they woke up to a nightmare after walking out to their cars and finding the windows shot out on Sunday morning.
Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the possible suspects. They believe it happened overnight.
At least six cars were shot at along the 800 block of north east 68th street. Windows and windshields are now shattered.
People in the neighborhood say they were told by police that the suspect used a BB gun. Police believe it’s the same group of teens driving through the neighborhood.
We spoke with a victim who says funds are tight after Christmas and many in the neighborhood can’t afford repairs.
“Oh it can’t be a good time for anyone no matter what time of year it is but especially at Christmas time. It’s pretty sad. People are out here doing these things,” victim Jimmy Boise said.
Investigators are trying to stop this from happening again. If you know anything about this call the Gladstone Police Department at 816-436-2228
