GRANDVIEW, Mo. – Grandview police are searching for three suspects after responding to a home invasion where the suspects reportedly tortured the occupants early Sunday morning. At least three armed intruders broke into a home located at 11800 Delmar Ave., and held four victims against their will for about three and a half hours.
One of the victims, a 21-year-old woman, was raped. Three other men in the home were scalded with hot grease and one of them was injured after being attacked with a power tool.
All four victims were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
Grandview detectives said the victims knew the suspects who left the area after stealing a vehicle. That vehicle was later recovered in Kansas City, Mo. Police continue to search for the suspects.
