OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Dozens of people gathered Tuesday night in Overland Park hoping to learn more about Common Core Standard. Some parents expressed concerns over the program.
FOX 4 previously heard from education officials to say common core teaches students critical thinking and reasoning, but parents we heard from Tuesday night say they believe it lowers the bar. FOX 4’s Mary Pulley has all the details from the meeting in the video.
