KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A traveling exhibit visiting the National World War I Museum on Monday gives a quick, stark look at life in the trenches for the average soldier during what was then-called “The War to End All Wars.”
In commemoration of National Military Appreciation Month, the museum is offering free admission to both the museum and the traveling “Honoring Our History Tour” – a custom 18-wheel truck that has been transformed into a interactive and educational experience.
The traveling gallery includes artifacts, videos and an authentic walk-through trench that simulates the war environment.
The Honoring Our History Tour traveling museum will be at the National World War I Museum for Monday only. Click here for more information.
