KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The payday loan industry says that they provide a vital service in under-served communities, but opponents say that they only allow financially-strapped customers to dig themselves deeper in debt.
Now, anti-payday loan groups are pushing for new restrictions on the industry in Missouri, and the payday loan industry is fighting back.
