NEW YORK — A global investment, KKR, and real estate development firm, RED Legacy, say they have jointly completed the acquisition of Legends Outlets in Kansas City, Kan., on Thursday. It follows a bid from an auction of the outlets earlier this year.
While the new ownership transition is planned to be seamless for customers, future focus will be to attract additional outlet center retailers to the development that are unique to the Greater Kansas City marketplace, developers said.
Legends has more than 100 stores, restaurants and entertainment venues at the complex.
