OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Nearly two months after a former Klansman gunned down two people in its parking lot, Kansas City’s Jewish Community Center is again the focus of attention. This time it`s to celebrate 100 years of the JCC in Kansas City.

The JCC first opened its doors in 1914 and has been going strong and growing ever since. Sunday was the beginning of what`s going to be a year-long celebration of its 100th birthday.
