OLATHE, Kan. — A bomb threat that forced an evacuation of the Johnson County Courthouse located at 125 N. Cherry Street has been cleared according to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office. Someone phoned the threat in early on Monday afternoon and courthouse staff was moved to an undisclosed location as a precaution.
Authorities with the sheriff’s office as well as the Olathe Fire Department investigated the threat. The courthouse was closed for the remainder of Monday but normal hours are anticipated on Tuesday.
