KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 22, the 2016 Republican National Convention site selection delegation is expected to further narrow its list of finalist cities.

At that time it will announce which cities it will visit as part of the selection process.

Before Thursday afternoon, the cities on the list to possibly host the convention included:

  • Cincinnati
  • Cleveland
  • Dallas
  • Denver
  • Kansas City
  • Las Vegas

After the site selection committee narrows the field on Thursday, it is expected to visit those remaining cities between June 2 and June 13.

Phoenix and Columbus, Ohio were already eliminated from the list.
