KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Kansas City, Kansas Police are investigating the city’s latest homicide.

Police found a woman who had been stabbed to death Saturday morning.  Responding to reports of a stabbing near 72nd Street and Waverly, police officers found the victim, a black female in her forties, inside a house.

Police said they have one person in custody, but aren’t ruling anything out.  The identify of the victim will not be released pending positive identification and family notification.
