KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Police need your help finding a suspect they say robbed a metro HyVee grocery store.

The robbery happened around 11:00 p.m. Friday at the HyVee store located at Northeast Englewood Road.

Police said they are looking for a black male between the ages of 23 – 30 with an average build.  The suspect entered the store with a silver automatic pistol and took some money.  The amount he took was not disclosed.

Police said the man was wearing a dark-colored hoodie, a t-shirt with a Jordan Nike tennis shoe on the front and gray pants.

The suspect left the scene in a dark colored four door vehicle.
