KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Residents of Kansas City, Mo., will receive two free admission tickets to the National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial during the first two months of 2013.
Residents can show a photo ID in addition to a utility or other bill with a Kansas City, Mo., address at the Museum Store to receive their two free tickets in January or February.
The complimentary admission is offered in recognition of the ongoing partnership between the National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial, the Kansas City Parks and Recreation Department and the City of Kansas City, Mo.
“We are pleased to be able to offer free admission to the residents of Kansas City, Mo., for their steadfast support of the National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial,” said Dr. Mary Cohen, Board of Trustees Chair. “We hope residents will take this opportunity to explore the nation’s only museum dedicated to the Great War.”
Tickets allow visitors access to all galleries, special exhibitions and the Liberty Memorial Tower. During the winter months, the Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
