Kansas City, Mo. — Kansas City police are investigating the first homicide of 2016. Police were called to the 5100 block of E. 112th Terr. about 2:45 this morning on reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived on the scene they found two victims with gunshot wounds. One of the victims died at the scene and the other victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
There isn’t any description of a suspect at this time, but police have identified the victim as 23-year-old Sederick Jones of Kansas City, Mo.
