KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A police officer suffered injuries Saturday night when he was hit by a driver he had pulled over at 25th and Montgall. This happened at about 9:20 p.m. when the officer noticed drugs in the driver’s car.
Police told FOX 4’s Megan Brilley at the scene that once the officer saw the drugs, the female driver fled, hitting the officer in the process who was thrown onto the windshield.
KCPD Chief Darryl Forte tweeted late Saturday night that the driver was arrested and the officer may have suffered multiple broken bones.
