dressKANSAS CITY, Mo. — Sewing the clothes we wear is almost a lost art. Since the cost of fabric began rising and the cost of manufactured clothing dropped, few people who know how to sew well, can justify the amount of time it takes and the cost.

One wonderful exception is FOX 4’s Keri Stowell’s grandmother, who we learned on Friday made the dress she was wearing.

FOX 4’s Mark Alford knew enough to ask: Was it a Butterick or a McCalls pattern?

Thumbs up to both Grandma and Mark!
