KANSAS CITY, MO. – The Kansas City Public Schools (KCPS) will offer free immunizations during its Enrollment Center days this month.
KCPS is hosting two enrollment periods for students that are new to the school system. These periods are as follows:
· June 12-15 – Grades 7-12
· June 19-22 – Grades pre-kindergarten to 6
The enrollment center is located in Parent University at Manual Career and Technical Center, 1215 E. Truman Road, Kansas City, Mo. The times for both periods are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday through Friday; and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
New families are strongly encouraged to bring two proofs of residency (a mortgage/lease and utility bill), a photo ID, the student’s birth certificate, and proof of immunizations.
For students without the proper immunizations, KCPS will offer those required immunizations free-of-charge. A full listing of dates and times the immunizations will be offered is available on the KCPS website at www.kcpublicschools.org or by calling (816) 418-7420. Missouri law requires that all students have their proper immunizations before attending school.
