LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall’s statement that motherhood should be redefined has resulted in comments both in support and opposed to her viewpoint.
Cattrall says she believes she is still a parent because of the role she plays in the lives of young actors, as well as the lives of her nieces and nephews.
Cattrall spoke about the issue during an appearance on BBC Radio, adding that you can express your maternal side without your name being on the birth certificate.
Many responded:
@KimCattrall#childless You go woman! It's time motherhood is being re- defined to fit the new age.
