LAWRENCE, KS. — The Kansas University chapter that is facing allegations of animal cruelty has been suspended indefinitely by the Beta Theta Pi national chapter.
Spokesman Martin Cobb says that after talking with the university, alumni, and the police during the investigation “all activities have been suspended indefinitely.”
Witnesses at a recent party say several members abused a turkey and eventually killed it.
