BELTON, Mo. — Tate Stevens came back home a week ago after winning The X Factor, and at the time all he said he wanted to do was see his family and sleep in his own bed.
But there’s little rest for the man who won the $5 million recording contract.
It was just announced that Tate Stevens will perform on FOX’s New Year’s Eve special on Monday night.
American Idol winner Phillip Phillips had to pull out of the show, so Tate gets to do it instead.
And to make things more exciting for Tate, he was also just given a key to the city of Belton. He tweeted about it, calling it “very cool” and “very special” to him.
